We are actively working in some of the most dynamic cities in Western Canada and the United States, and have left a legacy in other transformational regions including Hawaii and Oregon. As proud members of the communities in which we build, we are always striving to effect positive change, with livability as the end goal.
Vancouver is our home base, the centre of our operations. It’s also where we live, work and play. The region has long been a leader in fostering diverse and dense urban environments that bring together the best everyday amenities and services with unsurpassed access to nature.
In a 1990 article in the Vancouver Sun, Nat Bosa was quoted as saying, “In 15 years it will be fashionable to live downtown.” Fast-forward more than 25 years and it’s hard to remember a time before Vancouver was the hot urban market it is today. Our signature Citygate development in the mid-’90s pioneered the downtown living movement that has gone on to inspire cities and developers around the world. With over 10,000 homes completed in Metro Vancouver, we are honoured to contribute to this amazing city, and with every project, we strive to make it an even more magical place to live.
With all the benefits of a large metropolitan centre, Calgary has a distinctly relaxed and friendly culture that draws Canadians from coast to coast. But like many cities, residential growth had typically been outwards, not upwards. In the mid-’90s we offered an alternative, delivering a series of five high-quality condominium developments in the downtown West End.
More recently, we discovered CMLC’s master planned community East Village. As the first developer partner, we’ve been instrumental in the revitalization with two towers, a midrise and much more underway. Looking ahead, we are working with Canada Lands Corporation on the award-winning master plan for Currie, an entirely new community minutes from downtown. Having completed over 1,000 homes in Calgary to date and with more than 3,800 planned or under construction, we are proud and excited to see Calgary embrace our approach to urban living.
Greater Seattle is one of the fastest growing tech hubs in North America, giving it a distinct energy and making it a vital draw for the young and well educated. And the market continues to thrive, providing an opportunity for us to contribute to its growth. Seattle’s proximity to our Vancouver headquarters and complementary culture and vibe make the city and the region a natural fit. Plus, they have great coffee.
Nat has a long history of working in Washington that dates back to the 1970s, before Bosa Development was founded. More recently, Insignia, our largest city block development to date, was completed in 2016, marking the first new condo development in Seattle in half a decade. Building on this success, we continue to expand our footprint in the Greater Seattle Region, with a new project in Bellevue and more on the way.

Always classy, San Diego, with its mild year-round climate, has transformed from a sleepy Navy town into a dynamic, diverse and engaging urban centre.
We entered the California market with our first project, Horizons, back in 1998. Surrounded by parking lots, it came at a time when the city hadn’t seen a new for-sale development in over a decade, and its success sparked the revitalization of the downtown core that is still ongoing today. With seven major developments completed, plus 2 currently under construction, totaling approximately 2,200 homes, and enough real estate holdings to keep us building downtown for the next couple of decades, we watch proudly as San Diego becomes one of the most livable cities in North America.
